Giveway Time! Sharing the secrets to being a happy bride….

To brighten up these wintery Melbourne days and provide some inspiration to lovely couples planning their upcoming wedding celebrations, I’m so excited to launch my first giveaway! For the next 15 couples to book in a 2018 wedding ceremony with me, I’m delighted to offer a copy of Melbourne author and bridezilla avoidance extraordinaire Alex Miles’ book, 60 Secrets for a Happy Bride.

The perfect antidote to those stressful moments that inevitably will arise when planning your special day, 60 Secrets provides practical advice, good doses of humour and lots of tips for making the wedding planning experience as smooth as possible. I can definitely vouch for this one – it lived next to my bed, Bride Bible style, in the lead up to my wedding!

Gal on Film!

I love working with Videographers, as so often a couple will be so filled with adrenalin and excitement that the ceremony will fly by in a blur – so having the option to sit and watch a beautifully captured and edited film of your day is the perfect way to ensure you get to soak up all those feelings later on. Carly & Ben’s wedding was simply stunning. In the months leading up to the wedding, they’d shared so much of themselves and their story that I was able to write something that felt completely reflective of who they were, and I felt I’d known them forever! As they sat in the upper gardens at the Convent in Daylesford, their guests were completely focused on this gorgeous couple, and laughed and cried along with them as we explored their journey. Luckily Alex from Mighty Vision was there to capture it all, and I’m delighted to be able to share some of the highlights of their wedding ceremony.

(This also happened to be the day that I almost rolled my husband’s ute down a hill prior to the ceremony, then post ceremony had to wait to be towed out, all in my heels and dress and trying to hide from the Bridal Party and Photographer in embarrassment… but that’s a story for another day!! #celebrantmishaps…!)
